The Great Rubber Duck Race is produced by United Way of Central West Virginia, and every adoption stays close to home. Proceeds help individuals and families in Kanawha, Putnam, Boone, Braxton, Clay and Logan counties, through United Way's nonprofit partners and direct support.
In 2024 alone, United Way of Central WV reached 100,142 people through programs for youth opportunity, healthy community, financial security and community resiliency. Last summer all 15,000 ducks found a home and ten lucky adopters went home with prizes. Let's fill the river again!
