It's the primary fundraiser for Pace Center for Girls of Manatee County. 30,000+ rubber ducks race down the Manatee River in downtown Bradenton, and the first ducks into the duck trap win prizes for their adopters.
All proceeds benefit Pace Center for Girls of Manatee County. Adopt a Duck... Help a GIRL! Learn more about Pace at pacecenter.org.

Rubber ducks! Racing 30,000+ fluffy ducklings would be cute, but collecting them from the Manatee River afterward would be a challenge. We respect all animals and the environment, so clean rubber ducks race in a closed track where every one is easily removed at the end.
The race depends on both wind and tidal flow, so the exact timing is announced as race day nears. Ducks are expected to race at noon.
No, you can win from home! The Top 10 winners are announced at the event, and all winners are posted on this website within 24 hours.
Yes! Online adoptions stay open the morning of the race until about 30 minutes before race time, or sooner if ducks run out. The 2023 and 2024 races sold out before race day, so don't wait.
The ducks launch into the Manatee River along the Riverwalk in downtown Bradenton, by the Great Lawn and the Day Dock. Parking is available in the P1 and P6 lots shown on the map.

No, it's free to come cheer on your ducklings! Food and drinks are available from our partner vendors, including Anna Maria Oyster Bar.
Our specQUACKular volunteers and staff scoop every duck out of the water.
No. Contributions paid for a chance to win prizes in this event are not tax-deductible (see Rule 15). Every adoption still goes to work for the girls at Pace.
