About
MEET DUCK NORRIS. This year, Duck Norris is taking on the PaDUCKY Derby—but this race is about more than ducks. It’s about people. In 2025, Kentucky recorded 438 incidents of intimate-partner violence where children were present that involved a gun. 438. That number is why Duck Norris has a goal: 438 DUCKS. ONE FOR EVERY ONE OF THOSE INCIDENTS. Because behind every number is a person—a woman, a man, a child—who deserves safety, hope, and a chance to start again. Every duck adopted helps the Merryman House stand beside survivors. 438 ducks. One community. One powerful message: WE WILL NOT LOOK AWAY. WE WILL NOT STAND BY. WE WILL STAND WITH SURVIVORS. Duck Norris doesn’t back down. Neither should we. Adopt a duck. Help us reach 438.
